TEN:TEN Leadership Application

The TEN:TEN Leader Team exists to live out the abundant life that we have been given in Jesus Christ through servant-hearted leadership. We desire for TEN:TEN Leaders to serve in the ways and areas that God has called and created them, operating as different members of one united body (see 1 Corinthians 12). While we are not expecting perfection, our hope is that the Leader Team will lead by example through their love for others and obedience to God. I recognize that my life and actions will be examples of Christ-likeness and I am living my life morally within the boundaries God has set in His Word.

Gossip: I will refuse to take part in gossip and will direct people to handle complaints against others in a biblical manner, taking their feelings to the source.

Evangelism: I will invite the unchurched to attend and consider myself a greeter and guide at all times, warmly welcoming newcomers.

Alcohol & Drugs: I will not be intoxicated with alcohol and will walk free from slavery to alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. I will be careful not to be a stumbling block to those who struggle and will guard my personal testimony.

Sexual Purity: I will be sexually pure, abstaining from any use of pornography and avoiding any situation that might lead to inappropriate physical or emotional relationship with anyone other than my spouse.
